Essential Functions:
Oversees baggage and freight lost claims, including research and investigation of cost and damage settlement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Secondary computer tracing baggage and freight.
- Research and investigation of claims.
- Inventory contents of unclaimed, unidentifiable articles of baggage and freight.
- Arrange for repair of damaged baggage-replacement freight, if applicable.
- Oversee and complete customer inquiries.
- Determine liability according to tariffs and industry practices relating to baggage and freight.
- Financial settlement decisions made on baggage and freight.
- Keep accurate filing system for closed and unsatisfied claims
- Works CBS Ques for Loss, Pillage and On-hand claims.
- Secure “left on board” items and assists in safe return to passenger.
- Corresponds with customers to complete process.

- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal relations
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Detail oriented and organizational skills.
- Works independently, self-motivated.
- Sensitive to customer needs and concerns.
- Knowledge of SABRE, BMAS, Word and Excel
- Uses common sense and judgment.
- Written, verbal and computer skills
