Job Title:                                Aircraft Mechanic 1

Pay Range:                             $19.00 Minimum/$24.00 Maximum

Department:                          Aircraft Maintenance

Reports To:                            Lead Mechanic/Maintenance Manager

Essential Functions:               Perform repairs and inspections on aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs, installations, refurbishing, servicing, inspections, checks, and tests as specified in the applicable work sheets and work records.
2. Sign for and be responsible for the work that is accomplished as well as work of all other mechanics who assist.
3. Adhere to all technical data and instructions for each job function.
4. Use proper procedures, methods and practices in each job function to produce airworthy work.
5. Keep hangar and shop area clean and orderly.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Airframe and Powerplant license required.
