Anchorage Airport Information

 

Check in time - when to Arrive at the Airport:

  • 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure, when travelling with checked bags.
  • 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure, when travelling without bags
  • 40 minutes - passengers must be checked in and available to board at least 40 minutes before scheduled departure. Failure to meet this requirement may cause the cancellation of reserved seats and/or the entire reservation.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Even if a passenger is aware of a published delay, they must still check in at the scheduled departure time not the newly published departure time. If you elect not to check in at the "scheduled departure" time it may cause cancellation of your seat and/or your entire reservation.
  • Customers not checked-in at the departure gate or seated onboard within forty (40) minutes of departure may be denied boarding, and their reservations and seats cancelled to accommodate stand-by travelers.

Alaska Airline Dutch Harbor Flight Information

PenAir operates Alaska Airline flight 3275-3299 to/from Dutch Harbor.  All flights depart from gate L1 south terminal.  All reservations must be booked with  Alaska Airlines; web check-in can be done at the Alaskair.com site.  Passenger check-in for all Dutch Harbor flights is at the PenAir counter, domestic terminal south.  For additional information on Alaska Airline flights to Dutch Harbor please call 800-252-5669 or visit www.alaskaair.com.

PenAir requires each customer appearing to be over 18 years of age, to present valid identification at the ticket counter or departure gate with a Customer Service Agent.  Children under the age of 18 do not need photo ID while traveling domestically.

In order to expedite the security and check-in process, please ensure that the name on your travel documents matches the name on your travel itinerary and ticket.

Acceptable Identification for Domestic Travel

One of the following must apply to be considered acceptable ID:

  • One non-expired government-issued photo ID, such as:
    • Driver's license
    • State ID card
    • Military ID card
    • Passport
    • Resident Alien card
    • Photo employment ID issued by country, state or federal agency

7. What time do I need to be checked in and ready to board?
To accommodate everyone wishing to travel on your flight, you must be checked-in and available to board at the designated boarding gate at least 40 minutes before the scheduled departure. If, once a passenger checks in for a flight, it is delayed you must be back and available for boarding 40 minutes prior to the new posted departure.
