Baggage Info:  Boarding & Baggage Allowance

For domestic travel each ticketed passenger is allowed two pieces of checked Baggage and one piece of carry-on Baggage plus a purse, or brief case or laptop computer. All checked and carry-on Baggage is subject to the following limitations:

BOARDING

To accommodate all travelers on a flight, passengers must be checked in and available to board at the designated boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure for all flights.  Failure to meet these requirements may cause the cancellation of reserved seats and/or the entire reservation.

Checking in without bags

When traveling without checked bags, check-in time for domestic flights is 30 minutes prior to departure.

Checked Baggage

When checking bags on PenAir all checked luggage must be processed at least 30 minutes prior to departure to avoid rebooking on a later flight.

PenAir will accept checked Baggage up to a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23kg) and a maximum total linear dimension (length plus width plus height) of 62 inches (158 cm).

Carry-On Baggage

When Baggage is carried on-board the aircraft, it MUST be of a size and shape to allow for storage in the aircraft overhead compartments, or underneath the seat in front of the passenger.  Overhead compartments have limited space to store a coat, small backpack, purse, infant diaper bag or reading material.

Underneath space is limited to a small carry on item NOT TO EXCEED 16"L x 16"W x 9"H. Baggage not meeting these specifications must be transported as checked Baggage.

"Special" Items include:

• Crutches
• Cane
• Brace
• Prosthesis
• Collapsible manual wheelchair
• One stroller
• Infant car seat
• Infant diaper bag
• Reading material
• Camera
• Two wheeled Baggage, fitting under the seat or overhead bin

All items not needed in-flight should be checked. Passengers should carry on medicine, keys, important papers, and travel documents (passport).
